Position: Fulltime (Immediately)
Seeking an apprentice HD or Millwright with oilfield experience to join our team. Our business is overhauling oilfield equipment, specific to the land drilling business. The position is shop based, however some travel to customer locations may be required from time to time.
Job Description/Duties:
Must have a valid driver's license with clean drivers abstract
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics related to rotating equipment and their systems
Dismantle/Assemble equipment for repair or recertification
Move equipment using overhead cranes, forklift and loader
Must have a good selection of tools (Specialty tools provided)
Required Skills:
Be familiar w/Rig equipment and it’s construction
Be familiar w/Hydraulics in general
Be familiar w/Engines (Cat, Cummins, etc)
Be efficient w/your time
Must be able to work independently and/or w/others when required
Would Be Considered an Asset:
Knowledge of basic 24V DC Systems
Hydraulic Systems
Knowledge for Alignments and use of pulling gear for large hubs/sprockets
Required Safety Tickets: First Aid, H2S, CSO, TDG and WHMIS
