Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and preventive treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient care
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care
- Maintain sterilization, infection control, and safety standards
- Ensure accurate and complete patient records
- Support efficient clinical workflow and deliver an exceptional patient experience
- Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) in British Columbia
- Current certification and registration in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care

Preferred Assets (Not Required)
- Previous experience in a dental office
- Experience with dental software such as ClearDent, Dentrix, Dentally, or Open Dental
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes
- Administrative or reception experience in a dental or healthcare setting
