Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, taking orders, and delivering an outstanding dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Assist guests with menu selections and answer questions about food options
- Ensure tables are clean and set up appropriately for new guests
- Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and adhere to health and safety standards
- Provide personalized guest service to enhance overall customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles preferred
- Strong knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; hotel or restaurant experience is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Good phone etiquette and the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
