Class 1 Local Delivery Driver – Kelowna & Surrounding Areas
Location: Kelowna, BC and surrounding areas
Position Type: Full-Time, Dedicated Route
Compensation: $30–$37.44 per hour, based on experience
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team in a dedicated food service delivery role serving Kelowna and the surrounding areas.
This is a physically demanding position that requires excellent customer service skills, safe driving practices, and the ability to handle product deliveries directly into customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle on assigned routes.
- Deliver food service products to customers throughout Kelowna and surrounding communities.
- Unload product from trailers using a tailgate and electric pallet jack.
- Transport product into customer locations using a hand truck/dolly.
- Place products in designated customer storage areas, including coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas.
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic delivery documentation accurately.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
- Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations.
- Work safely in all weather and road conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
- Previous food service delivery experience is required.
- Experience operating electric pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and product handling throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of Kelowna and surrounding areas is considered an asset.
