Project Manager - Environmental Impact Studies


The main role of the Impact Studies Project Manager is to provide support for those who are responsible for preparing environmental assessments for the Environment team at our Montréal office.

Our environmental assessments relate to wide-ranging projects executed for clients in the public and private sectors.


Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, plan, coordinate and conduct environmental impact studies and other federal or provincial environmental assessments
Prepare requests for exemption, review, authorization and authorization certificates
Carry out ecological studies and characterizations of natural environments (fauna, flora, wetlands, water and riparian environments, etc.)
Plan, supervise and coordinate field campaigns for the purpose of natural environment inventory or environmental monitoring and follow-up
Develop environmental monitoring and follow-up programs, along with compensation projects
Draft environmental specifications
Carry out environmental monitoring, follow-up and audits
Take part in meetings with clients
Supervise personnel assigned to executing mandates
Verify and validate work methods
Ensure the application of our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) program
Mange budgets and schedules for mandates
Ensure quality control of completed work
Take part in the preparation of service and business development proposals.


Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent
Familiarity with applicable environmental laws and regulations
Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience
Experience in a private consulting firm is a considerable asset
Membership in the ABQ or AQEI is an asset
Excellent French-language writing and communication skills (oral and written)
Proficiency in English
Available to travel on occasion
