Nahanni Construction Ltd. is accepting resumes for Concrete Pump Truck Operators to work at our various project sites located across Northern Canada. The successful candidates will work on a rotational schedule based in a remote work camp environment.
SCOPE
- Operate a 40M concrete boom pump truck
- Operate concrete pump
- Communicate with mechanics to ensure equipment and truck are maintained in top condition
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Participate in daily tool-box talks
- Review and prepare daily Field Level Hazard Assessments
- Participate in weekly safety meetings
- Advise supervision of unsafe conditions or acts that may be a hazard or danger to oneself and other workers
- Read, interpret and act on instructions from supervision
- Ensure tools and equipment are returned to job boxes and tool cribs
- Report all incidents/accidents including near misses
REQUIREMENTS
- Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Previous experience with Schwing concrete pump is an asset
- Ability to learn quickly and keep up with tight schedule
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions in English
SCHEDULE
12 hours shifts on a three (3) weeks on - three (3) weeks off rotation, fly-in-fly-out rotation subject to change.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Nahanni is an open-shop Contractor that provides competitive pay and benefits. Compensation is dependent on experience.
