Finbar’s Irish Pub is hiring a Line Cook for our restaurant in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
Compensation and benefits
- $18.50–$21.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Tip-out program paid weekly; recent average is approximately $3.00 per hour,
- Consistent full-time hours available year-round

Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up, stock, and maintain assigned kitchen stations
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and workstation
- Assist with food preparation, inventory, receiving, and closing duties as needed
- Work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Qualifications
- Previous line-cook or professional-kitchen experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Knowledge of safe food-handling and sanitation practices
- Reliable attendance, strong organization, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of a kitchen role
- Availability for a consistent full-time schedule
