Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying order details with customers upon arrival.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups.
- Assist with moving inventory within warehouses or storage facilities as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and customer engagement.
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding inventory management.
- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type used.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules.
