Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Forklift experience an asset
- Overhead Crane experience an asset
- Perform general site cleanup and maintenance to ensure a safe working environment
- Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times
- Help with inventory management and organization of supplies
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately within designated timeframes
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in construction, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus but not required
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of workplace safety standards is preferred
