Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of performance.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff to build a talented and motivated team.
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising displays, and stock replenishment to maximize sales opportunities.
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies on customer service, cash handling, safety protocols, and store cleanliness.
- Foster a positive shopping environment by addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising or managing retail teams with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising techniques, purchasing processes, and sales management tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy retail setting.
- Skilled in negotiation, marketing strategies, budgeting, and sales development to drive revenue growth.
