SendSecurity Guard – Downtown Toronto Nightclub
We are currently hiring professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to join our team at one of Toronto's premier downtown nightlife venues.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at de-escalation, and are committed to creating a safe and welcoming experience for all guests.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for patrons, staff, and performers.
- Monitor and patrol designated areas of the venue to identify and address potential safety concerns.
- Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, incidents, emergencies, and patron concerns.
- Utilize strong communication and conflict resolution skills to de-escalate situations whenever possible.
- Enforce venue policies, property rules, and applicable laws with professionalism, consistency, and respect.
- Conduct ID checks and assist with admission procedures as required.
- Work closely with management, bartenders, event staff, and fellow security personnel to ensure smooth operations.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation when necessary.
- Assist with crowd management during busy events, special occasions, and venue closing procedures.
- Intervene appropriately when dealing with aggressive, disruptive, or intoxicated patrons while using only the level of force reasonably necessary to ensure safety.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ontario Smart Serve Certificate
- Availability to work late-night shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physically capable of safely managing and removing unruly patrons when necessary.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous experience in nightlife, entertainment venues, bars, clubs, festivals, concerts, or event security.
- Experience working with diverse communities and patrons.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures and incident reporting.
