The Sign Shoppe in Georgetown is looking for someone to join our production team.
We create custom signage for all kinds of businesses and projects, and we're looking for a hands-on individual who enjoys working with tools and tackling a variety of tasks. This role can include everything from operating power tools such as table saws and drills to helping with sign installations and general production work.
This isn't your typical production or general labour position. No two days are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and can adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Some days you'll be working independently (after training, of course), while other days you'll be collaborating with the rest of the team to complete larger projects. We're looking for someone who is comfortable doing both.
Previous sign industry experience is not required. What's more important is that you're comfortable using tools, reliable, and willing to learn.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday day shift position, working 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at our Georgetown shop on Armstrong Avenue.
Pay is targeted at $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
