has a broad-based practice which includes bankruptcy/insolvency, business law, commercial
lending, commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, condominium law, employment and labour law, family law, immigration law, planning and development law,
personal injury, wills and estates, and tax law.
We are currently seeking a lawyer to join the Employment Law Department. The ideal candidate must have at least a partial practice/portable book of business with 3-7 years of experience in employment law (non-union), knowledge of applicable provincial and federal laws, including but not limited to the common law, the Employment Standards Act, Canada Labour Code, Human Rights Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act, and experience drafting and reviewing a wide range of documents including, but not limited to, employment agreements, demand letters, termination letters. The successful candidate will also have superior written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable managing files independently.
