Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to lead our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a thorough understanding of restaurant management. The Front of House Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth service flow, all while upholding food safety and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring high-quality customer service and team performance
- Oversee food and beverage service, including food preparation and serving to guests
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Assist with interviewing and onboarding new team members to build a skilled and motivated staff
- Monitor restaurant operations to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and proper food handling procedures
- Lead by example in hospitality excellence, demonstrating leadership in food industry best practices
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment conducive to efficient service delivery
- Support restaurant management in inventory control, scheduling, and training initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within the food service or hospitality industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage diverse guest needs
- Leadership qualities with experience in team management and staff development
- Previous restaurant management or hotel experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with interviewing potential staff members is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
