Front Desk & Administrative Duties:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed
- Process billing, insurance claims, and payment transactions
- Handle treatment estimates and explain costs to patients
Clinical Coordination:
- Liaise between patients and dental staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Assist with treatment planning and appointment sequencing
- Support sterilization tracking and compliance documentation (if required)
Office Operations:
- Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Manage recall systems and follow-up appointments
- Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering when
Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting
- Previous experience in a dental clinic (front desk experience is an asset)
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with dental software (e.g. Opendental)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
