This is a 100% shop-based position on a stable day shift - perfect for someone who understands the basics of the trade, prefers working in a controlled indoor environment, and wants to master precision fabrication. You will be responsible for cutting, bending, and forming architectural metal panels, flashings, trim, and custom coping.

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Friday
Salary: Starting wage $23.00 - $25.00/ hr based on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated individual with foundational Architectural Sheet Metal experience to join our fabrication shop team. You will be responsible for cutting, bending, and forming architectural metal panels, flashings, trim, and custom coping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate standard sheet metal shop equipment including manual/hydraulic brakes, shears, and rollers
- Fabricate architectural sheet metal components (flashings, trim, gutters, coping, and wall panels) according to specifications
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and custom shop cut-lists
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials accurately to minimize scrap and waste
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in a sheet metal fabrication shop (architectural or commercial focus preferred)
- Skills: Basic proficiency with sheet metal tools, layout patterns, measuring, cutting, and bending techniques
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, reliable, and focused on maintaining high quality and precision
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely
