Overview
We are seeking friendly and attentive Restaurant Servers to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food service environments. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process payments efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and kitchen support as needed
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management and organizational skills
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and basic math calculations for bills and change
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly
- Follow all sanitation protocols and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Hospitality or guest services experience is advantageous
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
