Overview
We are seeking an experienced remote Office Manager/Controller to provide accounting services and some minor project administration services for our small company. Our small team is growing, and our needs are expanding. Our ideal candidate will provide mostly remote assistance in keeping track of client billing, but will also help manage our benefits program and other office-related duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily/weekly accounts payable/receivable
- Maintain an ongoing cash flow status
- Manage bookkeeping tasks using Xero
- Handle payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents, contracts, and vendor information
- Assist with budgeting processes, financial analysis, and cost control measures
- Keep track of GST and other tax filings
Requirements
- Proficiency in Xero and other relevant accounting or bookkeeping software
- Strong clerical skills with experience in filing, data entry, and document organization
- Ability to manage budgets and perform basic financial analysis
