We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Masonry Helper to join our commercial construction team in Calgary. This is a full-time position with immediate start. No previous masonry experience is required—we are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist masons with brick, block, and stone installation.
- Mix mortar and grout.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials.
- Prepare and clean work areas.
- Set up and dismantle scaffolding and equipment as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights when required.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset for transportation to job sites.
- CSTS and Fall Protection certification are required before starting work. If you do not currently have these certifications, we can provide guidance and links to approved training so you can obtain them before your start date.
Schedule
- Monday to Saturday
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- 30-minute lunch break
Compensation
- $20.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
