Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precise welding operations, primarily utilizing TIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality components and assemblies. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and various fabrication tools to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on manufacturing, construction, and ductwork projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metals and materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine welding specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Use calipers and basic math skills to measure and verify dimensions for quality control
- Assist with rigging, machining, assembly, and the use of cranes or forklifts as needed for project completion
- Conduct welding inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving ductwork, construction components, or manufacturing assemblies
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding with experience in MIG welding is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes and equipment operation
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and basic machining techniques
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation is a plus
- Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling
- Ability to use calipers and perform basic math calculations for precise measurements
- Understanding of manufacturing standards related to ductwork, construction, or assembly projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour
