Class 1 Shunt Driver / Parts Runner (Part-Time)
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team Monday to Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime available as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Shunting trucks and trailers within the city and customer yards
- Moving trucks and trailers into shop bays for repairs
- Picking up parts and delivering them to the shop as required
- Assisting with keeping the shop clean and organized during downtime
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
- Current Driver's Abstract (must be provided)
- Previous shunting experience is required
- Strong knowledge of safe vehicle operation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
