The Senior IT Analyst plays a vital role in the day-to-day execution of IT operations and systems management. Supporting the business needs of a globalized IT infrastructure, daily tasks for the Senior IT Analyst vary between break/fix troubleshooting; planning, coordinating, and implementing innovative solutions to improve IT or end-user workflows; maintaining & improving the business IT infrastructure, and implementing cybersecurity posture enhancements.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO AS A SENIOR IT ANALYST
- Deploy, administrate, and maintain a wide range of solutions and technologies with a focus on proactive IT.
- Advanced troubleshooting and end-user support.
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, review backup topologies & provide guidance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and network issues, providing root cause analysis and verbose resolution documentation.
- Work with developer team, 3rd party vendors & clients on technical escalations.
- Continually evaluate internal processes for improved workflow efficiencies.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles & policies, business continuity and other key IT strategic directives.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network robustness, formulate, and execute change implementation plans, execute projects with an attention to detail and a focus on best practices.
- Mentor junior technicians and act as a Team Lead for the America’s.
- Work remotely and in the office with an efficient and collaborative team.
- Grow your knowledge as a technical SME and be mentored by industry leaders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Successful completion of computer-related certificate, diploma, or degree program
- A minimum of ten years’ experience providing IT network and systems administrator duties
- Demonstrate experience with the following:
- Azure Cloud & SaaS expertise
- Microsoft 365 product administration (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- PowerShell scripting & automation routinesProcess documentation & policy frameworks competency (ITIL, CIS18, etc)
- VMware
- Citrix DaaS
- Microsoft Operating systems (Desktop and Server OS)
- Active Directory (Domain services, DFS, GPO)
- Meraki Firewalls, Switches & AP’s
- Cybersecurity (MS Defender for Endpoint, DarkTrace)
- Backups (VEEAM, Azure, AvePoint)
- Mobility support (Intune | iPhones, Androids)
- Big Data concepts (Storage, scalability, etc.)
- Linux experience an asset
- The ability to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Excellent technical knowledge of PC’s, Servers, Network devices, Storage Systems
- Advanced support of Cloud-based infrastructure
- Research solutions to systems issues and systems improvements.
- Monitor systems performance and assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future IT infrastructure needs
- Excellent documentation and process building skills.
- After-hours support may be required in the event of a critical emergency or scheduled maintenance
- DRAS is part of a global organization, and some travel may be required
