Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and alignments.
- Execute complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, electrical system diagnostics, and suspension work.
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including parts used and hours worked on each vehicle.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, industry trends, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
- Comply with all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs, discussing options, and addressing customer concerns.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory of automotive parts and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an apprentice automotive technician level 2 or higher
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, and HVAC.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and computer-based systems for vehicle diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
