In addition to welcoming and assisting guests, the Morning Host will also be responsible for preparing and maintaining the breakfast service area, ensuring food is fresh, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with basic food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and working efficiently during busy morning hours.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive and professional demeanor, and experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service environments. A strong work ethic, reliability during morning shifts, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression upon arrival
- Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet before service begins, ensuring all stations are fully stocked and attractively presented
- Replenish food, beverages, tableware, glassware, and condiments promptly throughout breakfast service
- Ensure all breakfast items remain fresh, appealing, and available to maximize guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic breakfast and front desk area, including tables, counters, appliances, and dining spaces
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and dietary accommodations
- Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply shortages to management in a timely manner
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain the highest hygiene standards
- Break down and clean the buffet area after service, properly storing equipment and handling waste disposal
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient morning operations
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest care at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, restaurant, or food service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is an asset
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Professional appearance and positive work ethic
- Flexible and reliable for morning and weekend shifts as required

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
