FairShare Vacation Rentals is hiring Cleaners for the exciting summer season. This is a great opportunity for students, newcomers, second-job seekers, or anyone reliable who wants steady hours, fair treatment, and a positive team environment.
We manage vacation homes across Canmore, and take pride in delivering clean, comfortable, guest-ready spaces. The work is fast-paced, physical, and detail-focused, but we believe good standards should come with good teamwork.
Summer Bonus!
Additional $40 to $60 per pay period for team members who commit to at least 20 hours per week during the summer season.
Performance Bonus!!
Additional season-end bonus based on performance.
Schedule Flexibility
- Primary need: Friday to Monday
- Part-time and full-time options available
- Additional weekday shifts may be available
- Flexible scheduling for the right candidates
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacation homes according to established standards - guest-ready every time
- Complete full resets of kitchens, bathrooms, patios, bedrooms, floors, and living areas
- Spot and report maintenance issues before guests do
- Follow all health and safety regulations and use checklists consistently to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Requirements
- Permanent resident in Canmore, Banff, or the Bow Valley - this is not a long-distance relationship. You must already reside in the area when applying
- 18+ and legally able to work in Canada - sorry, no sponsorship
- Previous experience or background as housekeeper is preferred but not mandatory; paid training will be provided for motivated applicants
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and stair use throughout the shift
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols
- Reliable vehicle + valid driver’s license
