Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and setup
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and storage spaces
- Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary items are available for meal service
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods
Requirements
- Prior experience in food handling, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Daytime, weekends and evening availability
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Basic understanding of food service operations and hospitality standards is advantageous
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as necessary
