KE Charcoal Grill & Sushi is hiring a full-time kitchen staff member to join our team.
We are a yakitori restaurant located near downtown Calgary. The available position is primarily in the sushi roll section.

Pay
Starting at $16.00 per hour
A higher wage may be offered depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and job performance.
Schedule
- 5 to 6 days per week
- Opening shift: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Closing shift: 5:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Morning, evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required
Responsibilities
- Preparing sushi rolls and related ingredients
- Following recipes, portion standards, and food presentation guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as needed
- Working efficiently with other kitchen team members
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or sushi experience is an asset but not required
- Training will be provided
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Our kitchen duties are divided into clearly organized tasks, so applicants without previous kitchen experience can learn and adjust to the position comfortably.
