Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technician/Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a delivery truck driver, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pick up and drop off portable toilets. Verifies orders and drop-off placement.
- Load, unload, prepare and inspect cargo and delivery truck.
- Clean & sanitize portable toilets when required.
- Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Be able to lift up to 50+ pounds.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory, maintenance, and repairs completed.
- Ability to read and understand mapping and directions.
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Able to work independently and manage schedule to stay on time with client schedule.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repair tasks.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record (driver's abstract required).
- Class 3 driver's license with Q-Endorsement considered an asset.
- Excellent communications and time management skills.
- Respectable and friendly to customers; having a good working relationship with vendors.
Compensation:
The Portable Toilet Technician is a full-time permanent position, location in Taber. The successful candidate will be offered a competitive wage range of $24/hr -$26+/hr with benefits. Salary is based on experience and qualifications.
