Do you have really good instincts about people? Are you the friend who always spots the creator who's about to blow up? Do you get a slightly weird amount of satisfaction out of a tidy inbox and a reply that actually goes out on time? If that sounds like you, then we have the perfect role for you!
Mogano Jewelry is looking for a part-time Creator Partnerships Coordinator to build and run our creator program. Here's the fun part of this job: you get to go looking for people who'd genuinely love what we make, put our jewelry in their hands, and then watch what they do with it. Some of them come to us — a good chunk of this role is looking after the creators who reach out and figuring out who's a great fit. The rest is going out and finding the ones who haven't discovered us yet.
Here's why it matters to us. Right now about 20% of our revenue comes from online, and we'd love that to be 80%. Creators are one of the best ways to get Mogano in front of people who've never heard of us, and right now nobody owns that. You would.
This role is approximately 15 hours a week with a flexible schedule — you pick the hours that suit you. It's remote, though we'd love it if you're local to Kelowna. The compensation for this role is $22 to $25 per hour, depending on your experience.
Where This Role Could Go
This is a brand new role and it starts at 15 hours a week on purpose — we want to build the program properly before we decide how big it should be. But we're not looking for someone to just tick it over.
As the program grows, this role grows with it:
- More hours. If the work is there and you want it, this can grow well beyond 15 hours a week.
- Real budget to play with. Right now it's product gifting. Paid partnerships, an affiliate program and a proper ambassador program are all things we want and don't have yet.
- Partnerships more broadly. Creators aren't the only people we work with — there are retailers, local businesses and other brands too. Whoever's brilliant at this is the obvious person to take on more of it.
We're not going to pretend there's a title and a number waiting for you on a set date — that depends on you and on how the business goes. But this is a genuinely new function at Mogano and nobody owns it yet. Whoever builds it well gets to keep building it, and we'd love that to be you.
Who We Are Looking For
We're looking for someone with great judgment who's lovely to deal with. You don't need years of experience — you need good instincts about people, follow-through you can rely on, and a real feel for social media.
You've got an eye for a genuinely engaged audience and you're not dazzled by a big follower count on its own. You can look at someone's page and picture whether their people would actually love our jewelry.
You're the kind of person who actually replies. When someone reaches out to us, they hear back — and honestly, that alone puts us ahead of most brands. It also just feels better to work somewhere that treats people well.
You're a good writer in the way that matters here. Your messages sound like a person rather than a template, and you know how to be warm even when the answer is no.
You're organized, and you quite enjoy being organized. Creator programs really do run on good follow-up, and you're the kind of person who keeps track of things without being asked.
You'd also enjoy the hunting part — going out and finding people we'd love to work with. Not everyone writes back, and that's just how it goes. You'd rather send the next message than dwell on it.

The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Business Owner, the Creator Partnerships Coordinator will:
Looking after the people who come to us — the bulk of the role
- Read through every partnership inquiry that comes in and work out who's a genuine fit for Mogano.
- Work alongside our Social Media Manager, who'll flag partnership requests that land in our DMs and comments so nothing gets lost in the queue.
- Get back to everyone within about three business days, including the people we're not able to work with. A kind, quick no is worth a lot, and we'd much rather be known for that than for ghosting people.
- Spot the occasional gem in the inbox and tell us about it before they find someone else.
Going out and finding people
- Hunt for creators on Instagram and TikTok who'd be a brilliant fit, and reach out to around 10 to 15 new ones a month.
Running the program
- Look after each conversation from the first message through to agreeing what the partnership looks like.
- Coordinate product gifting within an agreed monthly budget — picking the right pieces, sorting shipping with our store team, and following up once it lands.
- Give creators a clear sense of what we're hoping for, while leaving them plenty of room to make it their own.
- Make sure every agreement includes written permission for Mogano to use their content on our own channels.
- Keep track of every partnership from first contact through to posted content, and keep our tracker current.
- Pass finished creator content over to our Social Media Manager, who decides what makes it onto our own feed.
- Tell us once a month how the program's going — who posted, how it did, and who we should work with again.
Education & Experience
- Great judgment about people and audiences, and enough confidence to say no to a partnership that isn't right.
- Lovely written communication — you can write a message that sounds like a real person, including a gentle no.
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through people can count on.
- A good working knowledge of Instagram and TikTok.
- Comfortable in a spreadsheet or Notion to keep a pipeline organized.
- Happy working independently and managing your own schedule.
- Experience in influencer marketing, PR, partnerships, customer service or social media is a lovely bonus, but genuinely not required — we care much more about how you think and how you follow through.
- You might be a student, building your marketing experience, or looking for flexible part-time work that's genuinely interesting — all of those work for us.
What Mogano Has To Offer
- A flexible, remote, part-time schedule that works around your life.
- $22 to $25 per hour depending on your experience.
- A healthy staff discount of 35% off of any Mogano merchandise.
- The chance to build something from scratch and genuinely make it yours.
- Room to grow — in hours, in budget, and in what you own.
- Real, demonstrable experience in creator and influencer marketing.
- A place where you'll never have to be afraid to be your true self. You're awesome just the way you are and we believe in progress, not perfection.
- A workplace where we enjoy a good laugh - and are not afraid to have fun.
- An environment where we believe that everything is fixable - when we learn better we do better.
- A small, fast growing, female-owned business where your work is visible and actually matters.
How To Apply
We'd love to get to know you! To apply, please send the following to [email protected] with the subject line "Creator Coordinator — your name":
- A resume and a short note about your background.
- Answers to these three questions — a few sentences each is plenty:
- Name one creator you think would be perfect for Mogano, and tell us why.
- Write the message you'd send to reach out to them.
- Someone lovely gets in touch who isn't quite the right fit for us. How would you let them know?
Don't overthink these! We're not looking for anything polished — we just want to see how you'd actually talk to someone.
