Main Purpose of the Job:
The Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew are responsible for the day-to-day duties that keep the course and property in excellent condition. Duties include operating equipment and vehicles used for property maintenance, gathering/removing debris, grooming bunkers, mowing, line-trimming, and sodding.
This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members and guests at a high-level. Provides exceptional customer service to all stakeholders and contributes to a positive and healthy club culture through professionalism and positivity.

Golf Course Maintenance Grounds Crew Chief
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Interact daily with club members and guests on the golf course in a professional and cordial manner ensuring a positive rapport between golfers and maintenance staff.
· Operate hand mowing equipment such as line trimmers, push and self-propelled walk mowers
· Operate gasoline, diesel and electric utility vehicles and other maintenance equipment in a safe manner.
· Maintain sand bunkers with hand tools, such as rakes and shovels.
· Hand water assigned areas of the golf course using hoses and sprinklers
· Daily debris and garbage collection throughout the golf resort
· Report any equipment problems or failures to the Assistant Superintendent, Mechanic and/or Supervisor immediately
· Clean, detail and return all equipment and tools to designated areas daily
· Execute all duties, tasks and assignments as instructed by the Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent/Crew Chief
· Use digital time clock daily to electronically record work shifts
· Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Protection Policies
· Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· No experience necessary, training will be provided
· Driver’s license preferred
· Ability to operate various motorized vehicles (with training)
· Ability to work all shifts including early mornings, weekends and holidays
· Working outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Ability to perform in a face paced, physically demanding environment
· Prior grounds maintenance experience an asset but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
