The Opportunity
Are you passionate about helping seniors find the right place to call home? Chartwell is looking for a Sales Consultant / Retirement Living Consultant to guide prospective residents and their families through a supportive and informative decision-making journey. In this key role, you’ll drive occupancy, build strong community relationships, and contribute to a warm and welcoming environment for residents.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end sales process from inquiry to move-in, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates
- Maintain accurate prospect records in Yardi CRM and use insights to guide sales priorities
- Build and nurture referral networks and community partnerships to generate leads
- Represent Chartwell at events to increase visibility and drive local engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and welcoming resident experience
- Partner with Marketing on promotional events and materials
- Contribute to leadership meetings, strategic planning, and participate in Manager on Duty rotation
What You’ll Bring
- Proven sales ability with a consultative approach
- Experience in a senior living or service-focused environment is an asset
- Experience using CRM systems (Yardi preferred)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and meet timelines
- Customer-focused, empathetic, and professional in all interactions
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of the local community and surrounding area is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License, or reliable means of transportation
