WHO YOU ARE:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Clerk supports the accounting team by performing the administrative tasks of the department. His/her main responsibilities are to carry out the accounting operations of the accounts payable cycle in addition to ensuring constant and diligent follow-ups on all the other operations of the department. Responsibilities include:
Perform accounting operations for the accounts payable cycle.
Liaise with Landlords regarding payments and notices.
Fulfill bank reconciliation.
Follow up and reconcile credit card transactions.
Follow up on account statements.
Respond to supplier communications in a timely manner and provide an impeccable service.
Support the other accounting operations (i.e. Leasing).
Other administrative tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
DEP or DEC in Accounting.
2-3 years experience in a similar position - asset.
Autonomy and thoroughness.
Structured and well organized.
Good command of the Office suite, especially Excel.
Experience in an environment using an ERP system - asset.
