Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cleaning Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will lead a team of custodial staff, ensure high standards of cleanliness, and maintain efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in custodial services and facilities maintenance. The Cleaning Supervisor will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining safe, clean environments for clients and staff.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities performed by custodial staff across multiple facilities
- Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of equipment such as power tools and hand tools
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet quality standards and are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Conduct routine inspections to monitor cleanliness, safety, and adherence to company policies
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including maintenance and repairs of power tools and custodial equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns promptly
- Implement safety procedures related to heavy lifting, use of power tools, and facilities maintenance
- Schedule work shifts efficiently to optimize productivity while ensuring compliance with time management standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including the use of hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with staff and clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with custodial work
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in customer service is preferred to ensure client satisfaction
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to facilities maintenance and cleaning operations
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is highly desirable
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
