We are seeking an accomplished Industrial Electrician with over 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities
1. Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in our manufacturing plant, and warehouses.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying the root causes and implementing effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
3. Operate a variety of electrical testing equipment, hand and power tools, and specialized machinery to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks safely and efficiently.
4. Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes/regulations to maintain a safe work environment and prevent accidents or hazards.
5. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and supervisors to schedule repairs, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
6. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment inspections, to track maintenance schedules and compliance requirements.
7. Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies, codes, and industry standards through continuous learning and professional development activities.
Qualifications
1. Valid electrical license or certification as required by state or local regulations, with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
2. Must be Red Seal certified.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using systematic problem-solving techniques and testing equipment.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders, conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
5. Comprehensive understanding of electrical principles, circuits, and systems, including AC/DC power distribution, motors, transformers, and control systems.
