Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, treating, and preventing pest issues across residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using specialized equipment and chemicals
- Develop customized pest management plans tailored to client needs
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and follow-up schedules
- Operate sprayers and foggers efficiently during treatments
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards
Requirements
- Must have a Structural Pest Control License
- Prior experience in sales or customer service is a plus, as the role involves client interaction
- Familiarity/Knowledge about using various pest control products and application techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift moderate loads as needed
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to clients
- Willingness to learn about new pest control methods and safety protocols
