Residential Billing Supervisor
Location: Primarily located at Exeter Branch
Employment Type - Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 44 hours per week
Salary: $55,000-$70,000

The Opportunity
The Residential Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing residential billing operations across our five branch
locations. This role ensures invoices are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines while
supporting billing staff and collaborating with dispatch, service, installation, and management teams.
The successful candidate will focus on improving billing processes, minimizing outstanding work, maintaining
exceptional accuracy, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from job completion through invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the residential billing team across multiple branch locations.
- Ensure all residential service and installation work is invoiced within five business days of job completion.
- Monitor billing performance and eliminate unbilled backlog.
- Review invoices for completeness, pricing accuracy, and consistency.
- Assist with residential billing during periods of high workload or staff absences.
- Ensure all completed service work is billed prior to month-end deadlines.
- Collaborate with dispatch, service coordinators, technicians, and managers to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Develop, document, and maintain standardized billing procedures across all locations.
- Train, coach, and mentor billing staff to promote consistency and continuous improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Support accounts receivable by reducing billing delays and invoice corrections.
- Recommend process improvements that enhance workflow, customer satisfaction, and cash flow.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company financial information.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in billing, administration, or office leadership would be considered an asset.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software.
- Strong understanding of billing processes and invoice management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Experience in the HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service industry is considered an asset.
