Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to inspire students of various ages and backgrounds to develop their language skills and cultural understanding. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, facilitate interactive learning experiences, and foster a positive classroom environment that encourages communication and confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening in French. Duties
- Develop and deliver dynamic, age-appropriate French lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Incorporate multimedia resources, storytelling, and interactive activities to enhance language acquisition
- Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, assignments, and informal observations
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, including those requiring special education support
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student feedback using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student development and classroom activities
- Support students’ overall language development by tutoring outside regular class hours when needed
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context
- Experience working with children across different age groups in classroom settings
- Background in early childhood education or teaching young learners is highly desirable
- Ability to integrate math concepts into language lessons for comprehensive learning experiences
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with colleagues and parents
- Proficiency in proofreading written work to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Familiarity with LMS platforms for lesson planning, grading, and student tracking
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction for diverse learners
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support students with unique learning needs

Pay: $18.25-$43.77 per hour
