Hertz Rent-A-Car is looking for an energetic individual to immediately fill the position of Car Rental Agent & Customer Service Representative. The position is shared between our downtown location at the Totem Ford dealership and our kiosk at the Terrace/Kitimat Regional Airport. The Customer Service Representative consults with customers on their Hertz rental while trying to maximize revenue opportunities by actively offering products and services. They also ensure that the customer receives world-class customer service and sales support.
Benefits and Perks: The starting wage for this position is $19.00/hr - Career Growth with hands-on learning- medical/dental – pension/RRSP and much more.
Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Open and close rental agreements
- Cleaning and upkeep of rentals upon return.
- Answer phone and email inquiries
- Make reservations
- Perform administrative tasks
- Communicate with existing customers and potential business clients
- Move vehicles between locations
This position requires strong multitasking and the ability to upsell and overcome customer objections. The right candidate will display a high level of ownership, accountability, and initiative. Minimum Requirements:
- Must speak English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to build relationships with customers.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Physical ability to move in and out of vehicles
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License and a good driving history
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Availability to work a variety of shifts that may include evenings and weekends
