Experienced Dental Receptionist / CDA – Boutique Dental Office ($32–$37/hr)

We are a small and growing boutique dental office dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our team currently includes one dentist and one hygienist, allowing us to focus on personalized care, treatment coordination, and strong patient relationships.
We take pride in maintaining an organized, efficient practice where quality of care always comes first. We are seeking a long-term dental receptionist / front desk coordinator who shares our commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding patient experience.
Compensation & Hours
$32–$37 per hour, commensurate with experience
37–40 hours per week
Who You Are
You are an experienced dental receptionist / dental administrator who is confident managing front desk operations in a dental office. You have strong clinical (CDA) experience, allowing you to understand patient flow, treatment sequencing, and support patient communication when needed. You are organized, patient-focused, and looking for a stable long-term role in a boutique practice.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of dental reception experience in a dental office
- Previous Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) experience required
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing, claims submission, and coordination of benefits
- Experience with accounts receivable, patient accounts, and payment processing
- Ability to explain treatment plans and sequence of treatment to patients
- Knowledge of Paradigm and/or Logitech dental software required
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Experience with dental practice management systems and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage front desk dental reception operations
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient scheduling and treatment flow
- Handle dental insurance claims, including coordination of benefits
- Manage accounts receivable and patient billing
- Prepare treatment estimates and support financial discussions and treatment coordination
- Maintain patient records and administrative communications
- Track lab cases, dental inventory, and maintain detailed equipment maintenance and service records
- Lead morning huddles and participate in team meetings and training
- Support clinical team as needed (clinical familiarity required) including occasional chairside assistance and sterilization support
- Support the growth of the practice by contributing to an exceptional patient experience and strong patient retention
