Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to support smooth operations across the organization. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including belts, motors, pumps, and other mechanical parts.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to carry out maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., as well as power tools like drills and grinders.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or mechanics are preferred but not required.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
