Job Summary The Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by performing production, packaging, quality, sanitation, and material handling tasks across multiple production lines, including Loaf Line, Cutting, Oven & Consolidation, and Packaging.T his role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities
General Production Responsibilities
- Work across multiple production lines as assigned, including Loaf Line, Cutting, Oven & Consolidation, and Packaging.
- Follow all company SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs, food safety, and workplace safety procedures and policies.
- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and according to training.
- Inspect products throughout the process to identify defects and remove defective products from the process.
- Complete all required production, quality, sanitation, and inspection records accurately and as assigned.
- Identify and report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
- Maintain product quality while minimizing waste and salvage.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks in accordance with SSOP standards.
Quality, Food Safety & Workplace Safety
- Comply with all food safety, allergen control, sanitation, and quality requirements.
- Conduct inspections, pre-operational checks, and quality checks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times.
- Immediately report any food safety, quality, or workplace safety concerns.
- Properly wear, use, store, and dispose of all required PPE at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is an asset.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift within required limits, push and pull racks, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English related to safety, production, and quality requirements.
Pay: $16.50 per hour
