Operate industrial sewing machines to produce draperies, curtains, valances, and other fabric treatments.
Measure, cut, hem, and finish fabrics with precision and attention to detail.
Follow patterns, work orders, and design specifications accurately.
Inspect materials and finished products for quality, alignment, and consistency.
Perform alterations and repairs when necessary.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper care of sewing machines and tools.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and client deadlines.
Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards.
Handle various fabric types and accessories (linings, trims, tapes, etc.).
Minimum 1 2 years of experience as a Sewing Machine Operator, preferably in a drapery or textile manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating industrial and commercial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, serger, hemmer, etc.).
Knowledge of drapery sewing techniques, fabric types, and finishing processes.
Ability to read and follow measurements, patterns, and work orders.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
Good time management and teamwork skills.
Physically able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive sewing tasks.
