Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items efficiently, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
- Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
- Serve guests promptly at the counter or pass-through station with a friendly attitude
- Manage cash register operations accurately, processing payments and providing receipts
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations to ensure a safe environment for everyone
Experience
- Willing to Train if new to industry
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and guests to ensure smooth service flow
- Basic understanding of serving practices and restaurant operations is advantageous
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
