We are currently seeking a dependable and hard-working Woodshop Labourer to join our production team
*Pay Rate: $16.25/hr
*Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production and assembly of custom wood packaging and crates
- Operate hand tools and basic woodworking equipment (e.g., saws, nail guns, drills, sanders)
- Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components according to specifications
- Load and unload materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with general shop maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members and support skilled tradespeople as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a woodshop or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive, physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
