As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, maintenance, and transport of trade show booths and event setups. You will ensure high-quality execution, adherence to client specifications, and timely delivery of services to support successful trade show and event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Booth Assembly and Dismantling:
- Assemble trade show booths, displays, and structures according to layouts and client instructions.
- Safely dismantle and pack components for storage or transportation post-event.
- Ensure proper alignment, stability, and aesthetic appeal of booth structures.
Logistics and Transportation:
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and retrieval of booth components to/from event locations.
- Load and unload booth materials using proper safety techniques and equipment.
- Inspect and inventory all materials before and after each event to ensure all components are accounted for and in good condition.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Inspect and maintain booth components for wear and tear, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Perform minor repairs or modifications on-site or at the warehouse as needed.
Client and Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with Operations and Service manager to meet specific client requirements.
- Provide on-site support during event setup to address any last-minute adjustments or technical issue
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations during assembly, dismantling, and transport activities.
- Always maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Proven experience in trade show booth assembly, construction, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.]) regularly.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently.
Preferred:
- Forklift certification or experience with similar equipment.
- Knowledge of trade show industry standards and best practices.
- Experience with carpentry, electrical systems, or custom fabrication.
Work Conditions:
- Frequent travel to event locations (local, regional, or national).
- Irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
