Maintenance Manager

This is a rare opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our Tumbarumba site on a full-time basis. This position reports to the Site Manager and will provide innovative solutions to improve equipment reliability and productivity along with coaching and mentoring your team to deliver successful solutions for our plant.

Work collaboratively with the site management team to ensure continuous improvement of the availability of Hyne Timber plant.
Coach and inspire team members to achieve objectives.
Implement the site maintenance strategy and actively seek ways to improve it and achieve 90% uptime in each area of the plant.

The successful person will have the following
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor staff in a multi-skilled team and in a manufacturing plant.
Demonstrated experience in reliability centered maintenance processes, application of root cause analysis and elimination, maintenance budgets and computer maintenance management systems.
Trade qualified in electrical or mechanical discipline or associated field.
Significant experience in safety management practices and implementation.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or TPM type methodology.
