Join Our Team at Coast Discovery Inn – Janitor Wanted!
Coast Discovery Inn, a well-renowned 3.5 stars hotel located in the heart of downtown Campbell River, has been a cornerstone of hospitality for many years. Our dynamic hotel is growing, and we are looking for a Janitor to help maintain the high standards we’re known for!
As part of our team, you will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by providing superior customer service and attending to general janitorial tasks during evening and overnight shifts. This is a great position candidates who seek for long term employment!
We are looking for full time and part time for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service while handling janitorial and maintenance requests
- Clean all public and back-of-house areas, including garbage removal, floor care (stripping and waxing), carpet and upholstery cleaning, and window washing
- Follow Coast Hotels' quality and industry standards when completing tasks
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Assist with garbage/recycling removal and light landscaping/grounds work
- Perform special projects and seasonal duties as needed
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Secondary school diploma (preferred)
- At least 6 months of related experience (preferred)
- Physical stamina and mobility to perform tasks
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work evening and overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
