Water Heater Installer
Edmonton, AB | Full-Time, Permanent | $20–$30/hour (Based on Experience) | Benefits + RRSP Matching
Legacy Heating & Cooling is one of Alberta's fastest-growing HVAC & Plumbing contractors, recognized for providing exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. We are currently seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our growing residential installation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade. No previous experience is required — we are willing to train the right person and provide a clear path toward an apprenticeship and continued career growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Install gas and electric water heaters in residential homes
· Install gas tankless water heaters
· Install water softeners and reverse osmosis (R.O.) systems
· Perform routine furnace and air conditioning/heat pump maintenance
· Work directly in customers' homes while providing professional and respectful service
· Follow company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturer specifications
· Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle
· Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality
· Work alongside experienced technicians and installers while developing your skills
Qualifications
· No previous plumbing experience or certification required — we will train the right person
· Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
· Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in residential settings
· Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team
· Professional, respectful, and customer-focused attitude
· Previous plumbing, water-heater installation, or residential HVAC experience is considered an asset
· Plumbing apprenticeship experience is considered an asset
What We Offer
· Competitive wages from $20–$30/hour based on experience and qualifications
· Starting wage of $20/hour for candidates with no previous experience
· Higher starting wages available for experienced candidates, including 2nd–3rd year plumbing apprentices and individuals with previous water-heater or residential water-product installation experience
