Job Overview
BTT Services Limited, located in Halifax and Bayer's Lake industrial park, Nova Scotia, is currently seeking to hire an individual with mechanical experience. Preference will be given to those who have experience working on transport trailers or heavy equipment.
BTT is pursuing a skilled and dedicated mechanical individual, the job expectations will be diagnosing, repairing and maintaining transport trailer systems to ensure optimal performance and safety such as:
⦁ complete and/or assist with brake replacement or repairs,
⦁ disassemble and reassemble transport trailer components as needed for repairs or upgrades,
⦁ tracing electrical shorts for transport trailer lighting.
Looking to hire someone who is energetic, has a great work ethic, maintains a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols, and enjoys working as a team member within a garage environment.
Pay is negotiable based on experience and mechanical inclination with the option of health care, vision and dental benefits. This is a Monday to Friday position with flex hours and the option of accepting evening or weekend service calls periodically, every service call is a minimum of an additional 3 hours of pay for that pay period.
The successful candidate must have a valid Nova Scotia's drivers license to operate BTT Services equipment.
BTT Services is a small business that focuses on transport chassis repair, we have a very close working relationship to many large customers to provide a service that is reliable, safe and of quality that meets our clients needs. we supply everyday repairs, MVI's and service calls with our work trucks that are equipped as mobile garages for on-site and off-site repairs.
