Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, demonstrating a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.
Duties
- Clean and maintain designated areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and entryways.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
- Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and kitchens.
- Maintain outdoor areas by picking up litter and ensuring walkways are clear.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep the facility in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
